Chicken phone home
One of our assessors, Selina, keeps chickens at home and her 3 children just love looking after them including going down the garden to feed them. After searching for her mobile all day Selina went to put the chickens away and heard a phone ringing from inside the chicken coop, so went to investigate only to find that her mobile phone was in amongst the straw and chickens. Selina went back into the house and asked her boys if they knew how her phone had got into the chicken coop, to which her 4 year old replied “I put it in there so the chickens could phone their friends on the farm”. Needless to say this was followed by much laughter. So if you keep chickens be warned and keep a close eye on your mobile phone! Don’t children think of everything?
