To explore the appraisal process, looking at best practice, how to carry out an appraisal and how to prepare employees in order to motivate and identify development needs.

• To consider the importance of carrying out good quality appraisals.
• To explore how appraisals link to training, development and performance.
• To explore how organisational and individual objectives can be streamlined through the appraisal process.
• To identify how to implement/improve appraisals for your workforce.
