Learners Celebrate Success
Two of our learners are celebrating success after completing their qualification with us. Lynn Grimshaw and Dawn Robinson, pictured below, have recently completed an NVQ Level 2 in CCLD and we would like to give them our congratulations. Lynn and Dawn have written the following letter to describe their experience. Well done ladies.
"Having recently completed our NVQ Level 2 in Child Care Studies under the guidance of Bev Amison Consultancy, we would like to write this letter in thanks for all the support given to us by Bev Amison and her team.
We started off as volunteers in the Burnside Youth & Community Centre and expressed an interest in a placement within the Pre-School. To further better ourselves it was brought to our attention that we could gain professional qualifications in Child Care. Having not done anything like that before we were put in touch with Bev Amison Consultancy and that is where our journey began!
We have had a great experience and feel that we have really achieved something valuable, which we can progress upon. Under the guidance of Bev Amison, we have had regular course visits, individual targets set and observations planned and assessed.
The course has been hard work and very challenging at times but now that we have passed, it has added to the general sense of achievement. We would both like to thank Bev for all her encouragement, support and enthusiasm – we couldn’t of achieved this qualification without her! Everyone at the Burnside Youth & Community Centre welcomed her professional input and many things have been put in place as a result of this input.
Both of us will be enrolling on our NQV Level 3 in the near future and we can hopefully do this training under the Bev Amison Consultancy Organisation.
